With so many regulations to follow, Driscoll's needed an automated solution that could trigger operational and payroll actions based on time and labor data. They also needed to make it easy for supervisors to be able to compile reports on time and attendance.
A key driver for success was Driscoll's wish to be empowered and self-sufficient within their organization, so they could manage the entire process in-house without relying on a partner.
Align worked with Driscoll's to design a human capital management system that could handle complicated time and labor rules and regulations and allow their in-house team to manage the entire process on their own.
- Working with Ultimate Software’s UltiPro solution, Align HCM set up automated, easy-to-maintain rules that would trigger actions based on Mexico’s complicated labor laws -- ensuring that Driscoll's was always following legal guidelines.
- Align HCM further developed complete custom training guides on how to use the software. While HCM software includes training, the materials Align HCM created were fully customized to Driscoll's needs, culture, and environment. It included step-by-step directions on exactly how processes appear in their software, and it features the company branding throughout so the organization can use it to train their internal team.
- Align HCM further built a business intelligence training resource to teach supervisors how to author their own reports and also understand the data so they can make changes and manage the process on their own.
